ABOUT US
OUR STORY
On Sunday, January 6, 1980, New Life Christian Fellowship had their first meeting at a home of a member in Grand Blanc. Within a year they began meeting at Reid Elementary School. In August of 1986 the church purchased the land (74 acres) on the corner of Porter and Reid Roads.
The existing church building was completed in two phases between 1992-1996. These projects were completed without the church going into debt. The founding pastor, Rev. Maurice & Dolores Anderson shepherded the New Life flock for 20 years. The Andersons currently attend and serve the New Life family as Pastor of Visitation.
Rev. Bob & Bev Roberts accepted the position of Senior Pastor at New Life in July, 2000. They came to New Life from Springfield, Missouri where Bob had been working as director of "Asia's Little Ones", a holistic ministry of the "Assemblies of God" in Asia Pacific.
Throughout the years, New Life has seen a steady growth in the lives of its members as they seek to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord as well as serve Him by being active in the fellowship.
OUR PURPOSE
To Celebrate His Presence
Our weekend gatherings are like a big family reunion. We call it "celebrating" because we're grateful to God for so much.
To Win The Lost
We are the very hands and feet of Christ. Christ came for the lost - and so do we. It's not about changing people's opinions. It's about reconciling humans with their Creator.
To Equip The Believer
Maturity is more than age, experience, or the ability to retain facts. We want to grow up in the kind of wisdom that only the Holy Spirit can give.
To Send Them Out
The Gospel cannot sit still. It breaks down barriers and seeks the lost wherever they are. And we are changed when we reach across the globe to grasp desperate hands.
