Our Story
On Sunday, January 6, 1980, New Life Christian Fellowship had their first meeting at a home of a member in Grand Blanc. Within a year they began meeting at Reid Elementary School. In August of 1986 the church purchased the land (74 acres) on the corner of Porter and Reid Roads. The existing church building was completed in two phases between 1992-1996. These projects were completed without the church going into debt. The founding pastor, Rev. Maurice & Dolores Anderson shepherded the New Life flock for 20 years.
In July of 2000, Rev. Bob & Bev Roberts accepted the position of Senior Pastor at New Life. They came to New Life from Springfield, Missouri where Bob had been working as director of "Asia's Little Ones", a holistic ministry of the "Assemblies of God" in Asia Pacific.
Throughout the years of Pastor Bob's leadership, New Life saw a steady numerical and spiritual growth as well as the development of a Missions program which has given millions of dollars to missions all over the world. Pastor Bob shepherded the New Life flock for 20 years.
In January of 2020 Rev. Tim & Heather Pike accepted the position of Lead Pastor at New Life and came back to their home Church after pastoring over 5 years in East Tawas, Michigan. They look forward to many more years of ministry at New Life with great joy.
